Mark Jordan co-hosts on James Martin’s new Islands To Highlands ITV Series
MARK JORDAN FLIES THE FLAG FOR THE CHANNEL ISLANDS ON JAMES MARTIN’S TV SHOW ‘ISLANDS TO HIGHLANDS’ AS JAMES SETS OFF ON HIS FOODIE TRAVELS ACROSS THE BRITISH ISLES.
Mark, chef patron at Mark Jordan at the Beach, the only Michelin Bib Gourmand restaurant in the Channel Islands, joins James Martin for two episodes of the series which showcase the finest local produce from both Jersey and Guernsey.
The series started on 6 April on ITV with Jersey featuring on Thursday 9 April and Guernsey on Friday 10 April at 2 pm on both days.
Mark and James can be seen exploring the delights of Jersey and Guernsey on mini motorbikes. They also prepare a number of dishes based on local ingredients, including Jersey Royals, interwoven as always with good humour and a sense of fun.
Mark gets a lesson in oyster shucking and James discovers an island speciality, Jersey black butter, which he uses to create a delicious sweet treat, a black butter tartlet, served of course with Jersey cream.
